How to retrieve your emails on OnePlus and Oppo phones

The following instructions are for OnePlus and Oppo phones using the default Gmail app. This is the most reliable option on OxygenOS and ColorOS devices.

To set up a new email account on OnePlus / Oppo

1) Open the Gmail app.

2) Tap your profile icon (top right).

3) Tap Add another account.

4) Select Other.

5) Enter your full email address and tap Next.

6) When asked to choose account type, select IMAP (recommended).

Server settings (recommended: IMAP + SSL)

Incoming mail server (IMAP)
Username: your full email address
Password: your email password
IMAP server: mail.serenweb.com
Port: 993
Security type: SSL/TLS

Tap Next.

Outgoing mail server (SMTP)
Username: your full email address
Password: your email password
SMTP server: mail.serenweb.com
Port: 465
Security type: SSL/TLS

Tap Next to continue.

Account options

Gmail will now test the connection.

If successful, you can:

• Choose how often email is checked
• Enable or disable notifications
• Set a display name (shown on outgoing emails)

Tap Next to finish setup.

Using multiple email accounts

Once set up, you can:

• Switch accounts using the profile icon
• View all accounts together using All inboxes
• Send emails from your Seren Web address directly

If you prefer POP settings

POP downloads email directly to your phone and is best used on a single device.

When asked to choose account type, select POP3 and use the settings below.

Incoming server (POP3)
Username: your full email address
Password: your email password
POP3 server: mail.serenweb.com
Port: 110
Security type: None

Outgoing server (SMTP)
Username: your full email address
Password: your email password
SMTP server: mail.serenweb.com
Port: 587
Security type: STARTTLS

If the account will not connect

• Ensure the username is your full email address
• Carefully re-enter the password
• Confirm the server is exactly mail.serenweb.com
• Try IMAP + SSL before POP
