How to Sell Items on Amazon (Including Amazon Business Customers)
Amazon Business Prime is a buyer programme. To sell products on Amazon, you must use Amazon Seller Central.
Step 1 — Create an Amazon Seller Account
Visit:
Create Amazon Seller Account
You will need:
- Email address
- Phone number
- Bank account
- Debit or credit card
- Photo ID
- Business details (or individual seller)
Choose the Professional account if selling regularly.
Step 2 — Enable Amazon Business Selling
Once logged into Seller Central:
Settings → Account Info → Business Information
Enable Amazon Business to sell to companies and offer business pricing.
Step 3 — Add a Product Listing
Go to:
Inventory → Add Product
You can either sell an existing product or create a new listing.
Step 4 — Upload Product Images
- Use JPG or PNG format
- Minimum 1000px recommended
- White background preferred
Step 5 — Choose Shipping Method
You can either:
- Ship items yourself (Fulfilled by Merchant)
- Send items to Amazon warehouse (Fulfilled by Amazon)
Recommendation:
For large, valuable, or handmade items such as rocking horses or antiques, shipping yourself is usually best.
Step 6 — Enable Business Pricing (Optional)
You can offer discounts to business customers.
Inventory → Manage Inventory → Edit → Business Pricing
